Aug 06, 2011 · The other problem with the Mustang trans is the shifter monting. No where close to the Galaxie. But you could change the tailhousing and mainshaft to the Galaxie one. If you do that you won't have to do anything with the transmission crossmember or driveshaft. Look at David Kee's Toploader site.
